What’s up. I’m Johnathon.

I make BORED fingerboards in my shop in Indianapolis.

I’ve been fingerboarding since 2012 and making boards since then too. Back when I started I was reshaping Tech Decks with a lighter and pressing boards in homemade molds. 

Things have come a long way since then.

BORED decks are designed and made by me from the ground up. Every mold, shape, and graphic is something I created myself.

A few quick facts:

• Custom engineered aluminum mold

• Real skateboard style concave and kicks

• Precisely routed shapes designed in house

• Real wear heat transfer graphics

• Pressed and finished by hand

• Made in Indianapolis, Indiana

The graphics usually start as random ideas from my wife and I, then I turn them into full designs in Illustrator and Photoshop.

I earned my degree in industrial design from Purdue University, and during the day I work as a professional custom engagement ring designer. BORED is my creative outlet where I get to run with my ideas and bring a more lifestyle, swag-driven vibe to what I create.

This isn’t about hype or pumping out cheap boards.

It’s about making fingerboards that actually feel right with steezzzz.
